Save the Bees Project

By keeping the cycle of life turning, bees boost the colour and beauty of our countryside. Some 80% of European wildflowers require insect pollination. Many of them such as foxglove, clovers and vetches rely on bees. Pollinators allow plants to fruit, set seed and breed.

Each volunteer will be led in creating a seed bomb and an origami bowl in which they will plant their seedling. Volunteers will learn and sample the importance of purchasing local honey. Volunteers will create sugar water bowls and led in how to use their items in the environment they live.

Volunteers will prepare various Save the Bee kits including bee hotels and observational hives, and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards while protecting our planet’s precious pollinators.
